BIOSTATISTICS LECTURE SERIES FOR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS
BCC group is organizing online lecture series to sensitize graduate, post-graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral (MD/MS, DM, MCh, DNB, MSc Nursing, MPhil, PhD) candidates and Medical/Nursing faculty to the concepts of biostatistics and to impart practical tips on performing the same using EZR software. The course is conducted on every Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 7-9 PM [evening class] which approximates to 8 hours of contact. - Introduction to Biostatistics
- Data summarization – measures of averages and dispersion
- Normal distribution – properties and applications
- Standard error, confidence interval and sampling distribution
- Basic principles of testing of hypothesis
- Test of significance
- Independent samples t- test
- One way ANOVA
- Paired sample t test
- Repeated measures ANOVA
- Chi-square test/ Fisher’s exact test
- Signed rank test
- Mann Whitney U test
- Kruskal Wallis test
- Friedman’s ANOVA
- Correlation analysis
- Linear regression [ Simple & Multiple Linear Regression]
